A tiered state government competition (taluka to international level) recognising the best public Ganeshotsav mandals in 2026.
State level: 1st ₹7.5 lakh, 2nd ₹5 lakh, 3rd ₹2.5 lakh; same structure at national and international levels; district level 1st ₹50,000, 2nd ₹40,000, 3rd ₹30,000; taluka level (Palghar) 1st ₹25,000 with certificate.
Registered mandals
As part of Maharashtra celebrating Ganeshotsav as the State Festival, the state government organised the Best Public Ganeshotsav Mandal Competition 2026, expanded this year to taluka, district, state, national and international levels, with new awards for mandals from across India and abroad. Registered and duly permitted public Ganeshotsav mandals can apply online. The application deadline was extended to September 11, 2026.
